On October 28, 2008, Diva Q made another appearance on the BBQ Central LA Talk Radio National Internet Radio Show with Greg Rempe to talk about the just finished Jack Daniels Invitational BBQ Cook-off and the upcoming Best of the Best Cook-Off in Douglas, Georgia.

At the Jack, Team Diva Q was the highest ranked International Team, received a 4th Place Trophy for Desert and the International “Happiest Home in the Hollow” Award, for best cooking site set-up and decorations.

On October 9, 2008, Diva Q appeared on the A Channel Morning Show to demonstrate how to cook a turkey and a complete Thanksgiving meal on the BBQ.

The August 17, 2008 issue of the Buffalo News had an article on the Smokin’ Eagles BBQ Championship held in Wheatfield (Niagara Falls), NY. Team Diva Q was the Grand Champion and as such, won an invitation to the Best-of-the-Best Invitational Competition in Douglas, Ga., to be held on Halloween.

The October, 2008 issue of the National BBQ News also had an article on the Smokin’ Eagles BBQ Championship.

Additionally, with the win, Diva Q became the 1st Canadian Team to ever win 2 Grand Championships in the United States, winning also the "Smoke on the Allegheny" in Franklin, PA on July 12, 2008.

Ron Eade, the Food Editor from The Ottawa Citizen judged and wrote about the "Smoked to the Bone BBQ Championships" held in Ottawa, Ontario on May 30-31, 2008, on his “Ominivore’s Ottawa” Blog.

Even though this was the 1st time Team Diva Q competed at the “pro” level in Ottawa, they walked away with the Grand Championship, including receiving 1st place Trophies for Ribs, Chicken and Brisket.

At the Canadian Open BBQ Championships in Barrie, Ontario, Diva Q appeared on Canada AM—Air Date July 6, 2007.

On Wednesday July 10, 2007, Canada AM followed up on the story and announced the results. Team Diva Q placed 4th out of 30 Teams and won the Desert and “Anything But” Categories and also received Trophies in Ribs (3rd Place); Chicken (6th Place) and Brisket (6th Place)

Jenifer Bain, the Food Editor from the Toronto Star wrote about Diva Q and women on the competitive barbecuing circuit in Ontario after the Paris, Ontario "Canadian Pork BBQ Championships" held on June 9-10, 2007. This was the 1st ever Competitive Competition for Team Diva Q, with an overall placement of 6th out of 18 teams.
